Buyer/reseller opens return claim

About 20 days ago I sold a new pair of shoes. The transaction was smooth and the customer received their shoes about 2 weeks ago. Every seemed to be fine until today. He opened a return claim stating "just didn't like it". Usually I don't have an issue with accepting returns, but it's been 2 weeks since he received them so I thought that was a bit strange. So clicked on his profile and found out he was trying to resell the shoes. I'm assuming he opened a return claim against me as an insurance in case he could not sell them in 30 days. I have to say, smart but is this an ok practice on ebay?

If you have a “no returns” policy, you can decline a “buyer’s remorse” return request.

If you accept returns, then you accept returns for any reason.

You accept returns, so you have to take them back. Be glad the buyer didn't file a not as described case, and make you pay return shipping
