Buyer put in a wrong address. USPS couldn't deliver b/c "Insufficient Address" and now I'm waiting for it to be returned to me. Buyer wants item to be reshipped and is fine with paying for shipping again. How should I go about the situation? I don't want to get hit with fees from the initial listing. I did my job as the seller to ship the item to the address provided by the buyer. Should I wait for item to get returned to me and refund him (only cost of item) and just relist for them when they had edited to the correct address? Also, does the fact that PayPal saying that the address (which the buyer says is wrong) is a "confirmed address" really mean anything?

When you receive the item back then you can either refund them purchase price only. Or if they still want it, you can send them a paypal money request and they can repay for shipping with the correct address.

HI, i think that if there was no case filed that you can cancel the sale using the reason "problem with buyers address" then when everything is settled (refunded) you can relist the item & your buyer can rebuy if still interested. just make sure that your buyer changes his address BEFORE he pays.........ez. anyone else?

I'd The did that the seller would have to fully refund the buyer including original shipping to cancel So that doesn't work

If you are going to reship there is no need to cancel & relist and you are not going to get hit with a late shipment defect. Just send a PayPal invoice & print the new label from PayPal.

Have him purchase his own label and send it to you as PDF. You have each other's information now that a sale has commenced.
