Buyer purchased/paid for an item and then asked me to wait to ship

I had a buyer purchase and pay for an item last night and then sent me a message asking me to wait to ship until after April 10th. I don't know what to do in this case. If I don't purchase and print the label do I get some sort of strike to my account? If I purchase and print the label but don't send until after the 10th like they requested do I get some sort of strike for not shipping right away?

Tell buyer he needs to either arrange to have his package forwarded, held, or delivered to a neighbor.  As you must ship per ebay on time or be penalized.  Otherwise, buyer can ask you to cancel to purchase later, or purchase and pay later, but that is up to you.

No way to do that. Your right you have to ship on time.   Just as well, sellers holding and changing shipping dates would be a bigger mess.
