Is there a way to print Packing Slips in Bulk ***SIZE 4x6***

Title says it all, is there a way to print shipping labels in bulk, but size 4x6?

I know I can go to orders page, select the desired orders, go to the Actions or Shipping (whatever) drop down menu and go to "print packing slips and more" (or whatever it is). You can get packing slips for all selected orders at once. My problem is I haven't figured out how (or if there is a way) to convert that from 8.5x11 to 4x6. Is there a way? Is there another method I should be using?

Only way I know how to print packing slips in size 4x6 currently is to go into each individual order's shipping label page (the single purchase of a label by order -- not bulk labels) and click "Print Packing Slip" on the upper right after I've already pre-set the 4x6 option. (I pre-set 4x6 months ago, it just saved the setting and does that automatically each order.)

I print my packing slips on 4x6 thermal labels, along with my shipping labels. At the price I pay for thermal labels, 1 label costs me about the same as 1 piece of printer paper. That doesn't factor in the ridiculous cost of ink on a standard printer, or how god blessed slow my standard printer is ... So I REALLLLLLLLLY prefer my thermal labels for packing slips... Is there a way to make this more efficient, or am I stuck in an eternity of opening each orders shipping page and printing individual packing slips?

Part of me has considered to just quit the packing slips, I started it because I figured it's a backup if somehow the thermal label gets super damaged or falls off (they're high quality, super sticky & water resistant/proof... but still)... it's also a great last minute sanity check before I ship something, last thing I do is check the packing slip info against item/name before I slap the label on the package and ship it off. Helps as a 11th hour safety net before I ship the wrong person the wrong thing. I'd really like to continue using them but I'd really like to find something a little more efficient.

Thanksssss

First make sure your browser is set to open PDF files with Adobe and not its built in reader.

Select the orders to print packing slips for.

At top under the Shipping tab, click Print Packing Slip and More.

After the PDF print window opens, close it, or cancel, if it asks to open or save.

Click on Download at the upper right.

All packing slips will open in a single PDF print window.

Click on Print.

Select the 4x6 label printer.

Check "FIT" for the size.

Labels should shrink to fit and all will print one after the other in 4x6.

Come back and let me know how you make out, or if a problem post the OS, browser, and printer model you are using.

@rfmtm

Thank you!

Ok, so I honestly by-passed changing my default PDF viewer and just downloaded the packing slips as is. I opened the packing slips from my documents file on my PC using Adobe, selected my printer and it auto-set the fit to proper size.

So, I get two diff packing slips. The one I get from indivdual orders that page that automatically set to be 4x6 I suppose are modified compared to what EBay provides for a normal 8.5x11. I like the normal full size one's features... (store logo, store URL, QR code to store, item price, etc...) but it's taking one designed to be 8.5x11 and literally shrinking it. The 4x6 one u get the way i described via individual order (albeit modified) at least is designed to be 4x6. So i get less info and features, but it looks like it belongs

i sharpie'd out personal info. One on left is the shrunk one via method you described (my modified version of your method). The one on the right is the one I get my way.

Mine is limited but able to be read...

I appreciate your help, and I doubt I can fix/change this?... Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like this method just shrinks what exists so obviously cany modify it too.

Frustrating because clearly EBay offers the packing slip on right, but they can't offer that one in bulk method?? (So many things I would change about EBay...simple things to be changed....come on now!)

Let me know your thoughts & thank you again!

Yes, there are two different packing slips available.  The simple one (on the right) accessed from the create label page, and the detailed one (on the left) available through the bulk shipping page.

If you want the detailed one to look more like the simple one without the charges, when the packing slip window opens, click on "Customize", and check the box for "This is a gift".

I understand that, and that I think misses the whole point of what I would want. I mean, yes, I want it to be more like the one on the right... not in a way that I want to remove stuff from the one on the left, but because I want it to be able to be read without a magnifying glass, like the one on the right.. That's my issue. That's not going to change unless EBay makes the internal change to offer the packing slips on both pages. It's just disappointing that they have created two entirely different packing slips/forms in different locations. It just seems like an arbitrary oversight and could easily offer "more" options.

Yes, the font and format could be better or have both versions offered for bulk printing.   I have a worse problem with PayPal packing slips that use a mix of regular and very light face printing you can barely see, easy fix, but been this way for years so doubt that will change either.

One thing you might look into, is a free PirateShip account, same or better discounts, more options, and integrates directly with ebay.  They have a bulk packing slip, but not sure if or how that imports from ebay.  Also if I remember you can interleave packing and shipping labels, making it easy to keep the related ones together, rather than doing them separately or randomly like ebay does.

@ajs_coins_and_alchemy  Here is what a sample imported 4"x6" ebay packing slip looks like on Pirate Ship, which can include an optional Gift Message.  Best of all it can be printed attached to the shipping label to avoid mix ups.  Also nice is the shipping information and tracking number at the bottom.

Thank you!! I have a pirate ship account, I've never made the full leap towards using PS over EBay, but this may be the winner! Appreciate it!

PS also has cubic rate that ebay doesn't, which works instead of the discontinued Regional Rates.   The import works well and updates tracking back to ebay.
