Buyer opened an item doesn't match description case.

Hi, I recently sold a book that is from a series of book-it is number 48 in the series so the title state -48 :the title of the book and it contained some original inserts so tht is also stated-I often sell these single books to collectors. The picture shows the book and the description states this is for a book-with the title again. Anyway the buyer opened a case saying it doesn't match desc. or photos and stated that he thought from the way the listing was worded he was getting 48 books. I'm not sure how to deal with this-I accidentally hit approve return but I can't seem to send a shipping label -also I don't know how it doesn't match what I stated.

Your listing wasn't as clear as it could have been.   I would have underscored that the listing was for one book only.

Not sure why you use --48 rather than #48 like you do in other listings.    The buyer probably should have known better but I can see how your listing did cause confusion.

"a" book should have been a clue, though #48 would have been much clearer.

OP, you already accepted so there is nothing you can do about it now. You probably could have beat this one.

I agree however the -- after that made it misleading especially since then no names inside was pluralized.

As I said the buyer should have known better but this listing is begging for trouble.
