Buyer said that the item was not as described and opened a case. I am just wondering how long is the buyer given to return the item? It’s been a couple of days. I’m new to all of this. The buyer seemed rude and isn’t communicating with me.

For "not as described", I believe you are required to provide the return shipping label. Have you done so yet?

Conflicting reasons stated in your post as " Doesn't Fit" and "Not as described" are two different cases.
For Doesn't fit seller accepts the return and depending on return policy either Buyer pays to return the item and if seller offers FREE returns then seller provides a pre paid return label and on receipt of returned item seller issues a refund.
For not as described if seller wants the item back then seller must provide a pre paid return label. If you are required to do this then I would recommend that you do this immediately.
If seller does not want the item back then seller issues a refund and buyer gets his money back and keeps the item.
Any kind of case opened on eBay requires seller's interaction as failure to do this will result in case being escalated to eBay who will close the case with a refund to buyer from money taken from seller and buyer keeps the item.
Most return cases allow buyers around 10 to 14 days to post the item back plus an additional 5 or so days for item to reach seller ( Days may very ) and then seller has 2 days to examine and issue a refund.
