Very odd -- earlier today, a different eBay seller was having the identical issue, and what I wrote to that seller I'll also write to you --
"A couple years ago, Germany established some very restrictive rules regarding imports from other countries.
The listings of restricted items are long, and can be interpreted in many ways -- and, of course, any items shipped to Germany are at the mercy of the individual Customs officers, who may decided to confiscate items, based upon their own understanding and interpretations of the law.
Just in case you may wish to read it, here's the new law --

And later, I further wrote --
"There are specifically 3 item restrictions which may be of issue -- the prohibitions against pornographic materials; counterfeit materials; and "Publications of Media Likely to Harm Minors and Unconstitutional Publications." These are all, basically, as interpreted by the beholder -- the individual German customs official who examines the shipped item.
As I mentioned previously, the final determination of what is restricted and what is allowed is up to the individual German customs official who is examining the imported package; and, if that officer SUSPECTS that the item (in this case, the LP which you wish to ship) has a POSSIBILITY of being restricted, the customs official will confiscate it.
And, coming up in December 2024, the entire European Union will be establishing even STRICTER rules on imports -- so brace yourself for some even worse surprises!"
So brace yourself for a further flood of disappointed and frustrated Germans, who are suddenly discovering the ramifications of liberally-interpreted restrictions.
