I received a return request today (March 25, 2020) and it was automatically accepted due to my 30 days free return policy. And the eBay return notice reads, "The buyer has until April 23 to ship the item." Is it true that eBay usually gives buyers about one month to ship back the returned items?
And more information about this sale. This item was sold on February 24 and delivered on February 29. It took the buyer 25 days and 7 hours to start the return request, which is fine since it is within 30 days of delivery. But I don't understand why eBay would give buyer almost 30 days to ship the item back.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

I have the exact same problem. I had a buyer open a return today which I approved but only to discover that they have a month to return it. What happened to 5 business days?

I'm wondering if eBay is giving your buyer an extended return window due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Someone else posted about this earlier.
Not sure if it's another glitch or what?
