Buyer completely abused the return process and appeals dept. does nothing....

_Buyer buys one of our steering kits for his truck.

_Opens "item not as described" claiming parts do not fit his truck.

_We get in touch with him and ask if his truck has been modified.

_He admits that the truck IS modified (not original as it came from factory).

_We then point out that in the item description we clearly mention that the parts WILL NOT FOT MODIFIED TRUCKS.

_He admits to buying the wrong thing but still wants to return.

_We have a NO RETURN policy on this item as items being returned often get damaged (People don't know how to pack properly).

_We get a message from ebay saying we have to provide return label.

_We call ebay and the rep says let  the return time out and appeal.

_ We do just that and our appeal gets denied saying we did not provide return label.

_We have spoken to at least 6 ebay reps since and every person that we speak to says we are 100% correct.

_ Every time we email appeals they say they kept their original decision and that we should offer returns.

_Buyer kept parts (most of which fit his truck anyways) AND got his money back.

_ THE APPEALS DEPT. IS TOTALLY DISFUNCTIONAL.

Unfortunately,  you should have followed the set process for handling this type of return.  No Returns means nothing in a NAD case. Ebay's CS reps have a habit of telling you anything just to get you off the phone. Since you are a TRS,  you had the option of giving a partial refund.  Now you're out of luck I'm afraid.

Yeah, the thing about that is your no return policy is you got what you asked for...the item to not be returned.

Ebay has the MBG so any buyer can return just about anything including a rock and get a refund.

There is no benefit to having a no return policy when any buyer older than 15 minutes knows that ebay will give their money back by gaming the system.

Add a return policy and become TRS, then you can deduct up to 50% of the item value and possibly get a pittance back for your return label.

That's the best it gets.

Also report your buyer...who really knows if it does anything but you never know.
