Confusing ebay Message

Hello,

I've recently (Sep 25, 2020) ordered an item.

On my "Purchase History" page, the item appears with the Estimated delivery date for Nov 03, 2020 - Nov 22, 2020.

Today however, I've received what seems to be an automatic system message from ebay regarding this item, with the title: "...still haven't received your item...?".

The message's body says: "Your item’s latest estimated delivery
date was 16.09.2020." and "...you have
30 days from the latest estimated delivery date to
request a refund."

This does not make sense at all. The latest estimated delivery date in the message implies I should have received the item 9 days before I even ordered it.

Furthermore, according to this message, I must request a refund before October 16, 2020 (30 days from the latest estimated delivery date of the message), or I would not be covered by ebay in case the item does not arrive at all.

I do not wish to apply for a refund so early because October 16 is a mere 22 days after I ordered the item, and I know packages take on average at least twice that long to arrive to me.

What should I do?

Check the listing page to see if it still shows Nov 3-22 as the estimated delivery date. If it does, I would disregard that automated message. I would also make a screenshot of the estimated date, just in case. The screen shot should also include the date you took it.

Nov 3-22 was the estimated delivery date when I purchased the item on Sep 25.

This estimated delivery date also appears in my Purchase History page.

Today when viewing the listing, the estimated delivery date is Nov. 12 through  Dec. 1.
