Hi all. After a buyer wins a BIN, and after I ship the package, they send me a message saying, "Oh it should be sent to this address instead". 2 states away. Almost 24 hours later.
Now what?

@capital_nick First, check to make sure the message came from your buyer's ID and not a different ID. If it came from a different ID then it's some random person trying to scam the item away from your real buyer. You can report the message if that's the case.
If the message is from your buyer, as others said, since it already shipped it's out of your hands at this point. If it's delivered then that's pretty much it. If it's returned to sender then you can choose to refund the buyer item cost less shipping and fees (not required, but the 'right' thing to do), and they can place a new order with their correct address.
Buyer should visit this page to make sure their registration and shipping addresses are both up to date. Account Settings: Addresses
Buyer can file a change of address and mail forwarding request with USPS which will take a minimum of 3 biz days, or up to 2 weeks to go into effect. https://www.usps.com/manage/forward.htm

@capital_nick You always have to ship to the address on the payment.
Tell your buyer as long as they have put in an official change of address at the post office, their package will be forwarded. They can change the address online if needed.
OR they can have their PO hold all packages, since they're moving and pick them up at the PO.

1. It's already shipped
2. Asking for an address change is a common scam. NEVER ship to another address other than what ebay supplies in the sold details. If you ship somewhere else, you have no seller protection. ( not that it's great to begin with)
3. If the buyer moved, they can put in a forwarding address with the PO.
There's not much else you can do except tell the buyer the above and keep an eye on the tracking. If they put in a INR claim and tracking shows it's delivered, it's on them to get it from the address they supplied. I've had a couple like this over the years. One complained it went to their old boyfriend and he refused to give it to them. I was very sorry but it wasn't my fault they failed to update their address on ebay and I have no way to even know if that was true.

Tell the buyer it's already been shipped to the address they provided when they paid.
If' it's returned, you'll let them know.
Not much more you can do now.

Well, it's Friday...and if you haven't responded yet...
You could do "I am currently out of the office and will return on Monday after 9AM' like a recording email of sorts.
And check the tracking to see what happens to it over the weekend.
And might google old and new addresses to what the places might be.
If first place is empty package will be returned to you.
Or package might get forwarded to new place.

Yes, like @wastingtime101 said, not just the addy at the Post Office, but they need to change their address within eBay. There are about 5 different addresses stored, so they should go through all of them, esp if they are a seller too.

Not at all.

Nothing. Your required to send it to the address eBay provided and no place else.
Also, in some cases such messages are not from the buyer but some scammer.

You can reply that you are truly sorry, but it's been shipped already and that eBay requires you to ship to the address shown when the buyer paid. If he does not have a forwarding order in place at his former address, he can do that on line with USPS. If it does get to that incorrect address and can't be forwarded, it will come back to you, the seller, but that will take several weeks.
