Buyer bought an item using buy it now and paid now doesn't want the item or refund because he didn't win what should I do?
he bought one item and paid then bid on another item that would make the pair but didn't win now he doesn't want the item or a refund, told me I could relist it if I wanted. I told him I had no problem giving him a refund but didn't want to be out seller fees ect. Just wondering what should I do, didn't know if it would be right to keep the money or not, don't want to be breaking any rules or laws.

If you haven't already shipped, simply cancel at the buyer's request, refund and put them on your BBL.

If the buyer says they don't want the item now, just cancel the order as buyers request.

Do not become an annoyance to your Buyer. Do not delete the buyer's communication. Comply with your buyer's wishes.

so it's ok to keep his money $72.55 including shipping, and cancel the order without a refund?

I didn't say keep the money, I said to cancel the order as buyers request. When the order is canceled, the buyer is refunded.

the buyer said he didn't want the item, no refund needed and I didn't know if it was ok to keep the money so I was asking what to do because I didn't kno if I would be breaking any ebay rules or laws by keeping it. any way I refunded the money 100% and requested to cancel the order, done deal.

And to top it all off the guy that out bid him causing him to not want the item anymore is asking if I have another one and he should have bid on the other one but somebody bought it with the buy it now, I told him "he didn't want it anymore because you out bid him on this one so I refunded his money and requested the order be canceled, I might relist it someday" this is why I quit selling on ebay a long time ago, when I buy I just use the buy it now and get it overwith. when I would bid somebody would always bid me up to my max and retract their bid at the last minute, think I'm gonna just list with a fixed price from now on. Sorry, just my rant for the day.
Thanks for the help.

Your 'other' buyer is expressing interest. List it. You may even be able to ship them together and save both of you some shipping expense.

Keep the money.
