I have sold a 2 month old video card with the receipt to a buyer.
Buyer stated something was wrong with the card.
I had the card for 2 months and used it without issue.
Buyer sent video card in for rma / new card was sent to him as a replacement.
Buyer now wants to return the unit.
Does this sound normal?
I don't sell a lot on Ebay - more purchasing that buying but I would figure if you have something RMA'd and then don't like the item and have second thoughts I would not be responsible for it.
Just asking..

RMA means Return Merchandise Authorization. Typically a number the seller assigns to identify a return when it arrives. It is not an Ebay number or anything. It is a number created and applied to the return by a seller. You can have Ebay create one for you if you want. That can be set up in your Return Preferences.
So you sold a video card, it was returned to you and you sent out a replacement, do I have that correct?
Now your buyer wants to return "the unit". What is "the unit"? Is it the second video card or something else?
Sellers are responsible for making sure their customer is happy and that they get the product sold in the listing as described in the listing. There can be disagreements to the interpretation of what is said in the listing that can add to miscommunications. But yes, ultimately you are responsible.
