Automatic return approval?

A buyer just started a return on a pair of shoes I sold because they didn't fit properly. I had the listing set up to accept returns and am glad to take them back. But this time Ebay didn't ask for my approval. The message just said the return had been started. In the past I remember having to approve the return before it was set in motion. Am I remembering wrong? It's not a big deal but it's just got me wondering.

This was announced last fall. If you accept returns, eBay will now automatically approve them for the buyer. There was an additional update about this in the spring/summer updates too.
