Just got a refund. I'm actually concerned ha. My scale is very accurate..like by .005 or some insanely small amount, however I've always been in the practice of adding an ounce for labels, tape...just to be on the safe side. However this refund was for $2.50 there is no way that an ounce made that big of a difference going only one state away. This was automatic and I received the email from PayPal and went directly there and yup it's there. I mean it's a credit, but lord this seems soooo off. If it was under $1.00 I wouldn't be concerned but $2.50 that's a big discrepancy. I've read of other being charged...hasn't happened to me, but I haven't read about any refunds either. Anyone else get a refund? It sure would be nice if they actually told you the weight descrepacy...but alas there is no information about the actual package details that triggered this refund (and assume neither when you get charged)

I am happy to know that USPS really gives refund. Very fair that they do only not look out for underpaid parcels.

Well, maybe the issue wasn't that 1-ounce difference. Maybe the "Ship from" ZIP Code on your label preparation page was wrong. Or maybe you paid for a flat-rate box but used a weight-based one (or vice-versa).
