Is there a link to detailed information about each of the shipping options listed when I am creating a new ebay listing?
I am trying to determine which shipping option on my listing matches the USPS Priority Mail box 1096L - 9.25 x 6.25 x 2. Are these boxes considered plain "USPS Priority Mail" in the Ebay listings options? I called USPS and they were not sure and said to ask Ebay. They said it was not the "USPS Small Flat Rate Box" option. The only other option that seems to fit is plain Priority Mail.
Any help is appreciated!

Yes. All of the Flat Rate boxes and envelopes are marked as such on the boxes. If the box is printed only with MAILING BOX like the one you show, it is mailed by weight and distance and is not a Flat Rate of any kind.

Any box that doesn't specifically say "Flat rate" or "Regional" on it ships at the regular Priority Mail rates that are based on weight and distance.
The 1096-L box has been around for a long long time; I'm very surprised that a USPS employee didn't recognize it. Perhaps they were confused about the eBay-specific portion of your question.

Perhaps you should visit the USPS.com web site.

Wasn’t one of these boxes rolled in under the flat rate rate because it was the same size? Am I remembering it wrong?

The box in the OP is the 1096-L, and originally there was also a 1096-S which was the exact right size for one VHS tape.
The first two Flat Rate boxes that were introduced were the ones that eventually became known as the Medium. They originally didn't have a size designation, but became known as "Medium" when USPS decided to rebrand the 1096-S as the Small flat rate box.

No, there is a SFRB and a Zoned box that is slightly larger (like the one pictured) that CAN NOT be used as a Flat Rate Box.
