I bought some stickers for 4 euros and the seller is asking me for my fiscal code. He said it was the shipping company that ask him. I live in Italy and the seller is from US. This is normal?

The Italian fiscal code, officially known in Italy as Codice fiscale, is the tax code in Italy, similar to a Social Security Number (SSN)
