I went to pay on my credit card and just noticed starting October 1st all of my shipping label charges have come out of my available funds. Its been set up for my credit card for years. Card isn't expired. Not a big deal other than $60 it cost me in rewards. This happen to anyone else before?

If you purchased a label that requires using eBay funds such as UPS or FedEx, that would have changed your default method.
You have to manually change it back to PayPal (credit card) when you purchase USPS.

I don't think that is correct. I use Fed Ex and USPS daily. I have never had to toggle back and fourth between them from credit card/paypal to available funds. I checked my other seller account and its also changed. The system changed my default.

Yes, it is and always has been. Open up the page to purchase a label @bgt_masters_of_tiki_d and select any fedex or ups service. Scroll down to payment options. You'll see it's exclusively eBay funds.
Now switch to usps and you'll see an option of eBay funds or paypal.

I understand what you are saying but I don't think i am relaying what I am saying so you can understand me. I never have to switch back and forth between the two. When I used Fed Ex, it would automatically take from available funds but when I used USPS it would keep using my default which is set to paypal. I didn't have to manually switch back to paypal after printing a Fed Ex label. I print over 2 thousand labels annually, I would very much notice the annoyance of having to toggle back and forth between the two. On October 1st, it changed on its own without me noticing.

OK I see what you're saying and that's incredibly odd. That's not how it's ever worked for me or for hundreds of other sellers I've helped with this exact situation.
Maybe there was some kind of quirk with your account that let you bypass the problem? No idea. But it seems your settings are now in line with the rest of us, so you know how to manage it go forward. In my opinion the easiest way to deal with it is to use bulk labels - do FedEx first, then afterwards do your USPS orders and change the payment method before buying.
The payment setting is sticky which is why I suggest buying USPS labels last - because then you'll stick to the PayPal setting in case next time you have only USPS labels you won't have to switch the setting again.
Hope that helps.

One other thing I've noticed is frequently, if I use the app to check shipping on something while I'm packing, the app will try to switch me from PayPal to eBay funds even on USPS labels. There's usually a message to alert me eBay forced the change, and I have to manually change it back. So be on the lookout for that, too.
Generally speaking, this is a setting you always want to keep your eye on. eBay has a habit of trying to push sellers into using eBay funds over PayPal in different scenarios.

I have never used the app to print so that is where we are differing in experiences. I have a laptop solely dedicated to my shipping area it doesn't get used for anything else. It has never been switched from my chosen default setting. I print so much its hard to keep up and remember to check. Its also at the very bottom of the screen so I don't even scroll that far as I've had no need to. I thought my payouts seemed a bit low and now I know why. Seeing its more than just one of my accounts I know it was system related.

The app comment was added after the fact, since that's another way the setting can change. All my prior comments were about the website.
Like I said - if you've never seen it switch to eBay funds for FedEx/UPS before about a month ago, that's not the "norm" that other sellers experience.
