Any Information about these "Continental" international shipping warehouses? Scam? Legit?

Selling items on eBay has changed since I last sold on here...(many years ago) I have been getting a lot of buyers from strange addresses? Many repeat buyers. The problem is the items Never seam to reach the Location? and USPS seams to stop tracking it after 4 weeks or so? The buyers have yet to file a claim or contact me about them... but they keep buying higher and higher value items. Is this some new international scam? Or are the packages somehow getting lost? Also would "Signature Confirmation" or "Additional Insurance" solve any of the issues? Thank you in advance. I just don't want to loose an item to a scam that someone may truly want to purchase. Below are a few of the repeat addresses i have sent item to:

Address 1:

6215 NE 92nd Dr

C/O TMI026

Portland, Or 97253

Address 2:

92 Quigley Blvd
Historic New Castle DE 19720-4150

"Freight forward' from Oregon to another country.

Just look up eBay buyer ID in feedbacks to see what country it is going to.

Same with Delaware and Florida 'freight forwards'.

I take a photo of parcel with postage on it and send it in a friendly email to buyer...and let them know it is coming from California to Oregon to (country) and it might take longer. Add sometimes a week plus on getting to the buyer.

eBay doesn't give you that extra time for shipping to country of buyer...only to Oregon. Really not fair.

Expect buyer to complain where is my item sometime in the future.

I don't do 'signature confirmation' or 'added insurance'...I don't even use tracking...LOL

Never had a problem with 'freight forward' yet...works fine for me at least.

Always check your eBay buyer ID country in feedbacks.

And never ask buyer did item arrive yet...don't open a 'can of worms'.

Good Luck.

So -- you're selling to repeat buyers?  And they keep buying higher and higher value items?
Aren't those Good Things?

Your concern that "the items Never seam to reach the Location" is misplaced because, In Fact, with tracking through the USPS, you can find out the date that your items reach their location or destination.
Because, per your examples, their destination-location is Portland, Oregon, or New Castle, Delaware.

No, these addresses are not part of some international scam, neither a new one nor an old one.

Those Oregon and Delaware addresses are the addresses that eBay gave to you once the buyer's payment was fully processed.  Therefore, eBay only cares that your items reach those delivery addresses in Oregon or Delaware.

Non-USA eBay buyers contract with those freight forwarding companies.  Those non-USA buyers are fully aware that anything they buy from you on eBay will go to Oregon or Delaware first, and then those forwarding companies will, well, forward  their purchases on to the buyer's actual home or business address.

My selling ID also has sold and mailed many items to Oregon and/or Delaware.  Just within the last ten days or so, during the last few days of January:  one was sent to Tualatin, Oregon and the other to New Castle, Delaware.  Like you, I have never had any problem or question from those buyers about never receiving their purchases.

Try not to worry.  There's nothing inherently dangerous about those transactions.  Really, it sounds like things are going pretty well with your deliveries to freight forwarders.

Thank you for the input. It Puts my mind a bit at ease. When I was referring to "the items Never seam to reach the Location" an example I have is:

(ITEM)  Purchased on Dec 16th, Item sent on Dec 17th, Last eBay Update Dec 23 "Arriving Late" I go onto the actual USPS using the tracking # and  it states "Dec 23 In Transit to Next Facility, Arriving Late" But that is the last update. No further information or updates on the package.

If this is part of the process, great. I haven't delt with it much before. Just normal buyers in the US.  again thank you for the input.

Thank you. This has been the first time really dealing with a "Freight Forward" buyer. Again one buyer bought multiple items. I sent them but never really thought about where it was off to until 2 months later the item still showed in transit. No one has complained about their item yet... but i don't want to continue sending them if they don't arrive to the buyer. Thanks again for the input
