I've been scammed as the product sent to me is NAD and it does not work. eBay has stepped in to resolve the case and placed it on hold for 5 days so that the seller can respond. The reason the case was placed on hold is that the seller was not providing a return label for the shipping.
I find this suspicious as they have already scammed me.
Then I contacted eBay and they placed this case on hold.
So now the thing is, the seller has responded
After that private message was sent, I received another message
I received both of these messages today. I do not trust this seller anymore and I feel like they have been doing this for a long time, so they know how to beat the system..?
5GBP to CAD is $8.78, and I'm not sure if that will cover the cost to China.
I'm also unsure if the address provided by Paypal is the return address.
How would I get a delivery estimate for this? How can the worker at Canadapost input their address, as it is in Chinese? (very small town, I know who works there.)
I'm super stressed. This item was needed to complete my work and instead, I am out $120.
What should I do?

You need to ask eBay for help. For one, the minimum cost to return anything to China with tracking costs more than $50. I have no idea what what shipping to China with online viewable tracking costs from Canada. You need to find out and send the seller a PayPal money request from your PayPal account. if you let eBay know they haven't provided enough money to return it with tracking I'm pretty sure eBay will refund and not require you to return it.

STOP going back and forth with the seller. There's no need for all that. NEVER do that.
Wait for the "ask Ebay to step in" link to appear. Click that. Ebay will force the refund without a return, and the seller will get a very nasty and very deserved defect on their account.

We would recommend that you obtain a price for sending the item back to china from your local postal service provider. Postage service must be tracked and signed or signed and must have insurance to the value of item plus postage costs. Advise your buyer of the cost and ask him to pay this money into your Pay pal account as money sent to "Friends and family" and not for Goods and services . This will avoid any possibility of Pay pal getting involved at some later stage asking you to prove that you sent item to address shown on their records and that item was delivered.
This will put on record to eBay that you tried your best to help the seller and if seller did not respond or provided you with a pre paid tracked/ signed return postage label then at the expiry of case hold time, you escalate and eBay should read all communication and we are certain that eBay will close the case in your favour, issue a full refund to you and will debit seller account.
Seller may contact you and take up one of the 2 options that you have suggested in this message.
Use Google translate to translate address you have been given in Chinese ( Mandarin) to English and you should put address labels on your package in both languages. Label in local language helps to make sure that item is delivered to correct address as local delivery agent in China may not be able to read English as it is highly unlikely that your local postal delivery agent can read Mandarin/ Chinese.
We are certain that in due time everything will work out OK for you.
Good luck and stay safe.
