Advice On Streamling Packing Materials While Offering Quality Shipping

This advice may have been given many times before, but through my years as an eBayer, one thing that I have found to be very helpful is to streamline my shipping process while offering quality shipping.

I find it very helpful to have a postal scale to ensure that I am able to put the right amount of postage on each package.

I also find it to be very helpful to have three or four basic sizes padded envelopes/boxes for smaller, medium sized and larger items that I ship.

This helps me save a little bit on shipping supplies as I am able to order them in bundles versus one at a time, and the shipping supplies also store more easily, as they are in bundles.

I agree, having a postage scale is absolutely essential. I order shipping supplies in bulk, and I always make sure I'm stocked by end Sept / early Oct with my supply needs to last through the holiday season (end of Jan).

Walk without rhythm, it won't attract the worm.

Advice On Streamling Packing Materials While Offering Quality Shipping

My items, as I list them, are prepped for packaing as far as i can without acually putting the item in a box or shipping envelope. Mugs, for example, I wrap in bubble wrap and then place in a plastic bag with a label of what the item is. Books are place in a plastic bag.  then when an item sales, I just have to place the item in the shipping bag, envelope or box.
