Adding shipping cost to item in order for the purchase to go through

Hello: I hope someone can help me. I had an item listed but didn't post the shipping fee, although the buyer knows that they need to pay the fee. The buyer agreed to the shipping fee, but the purchase won't go through unless I add it to the "Buy Now" portion of the post. Any ideas? I thought of reposting it? Thanks!

Adding shipping cost to item in order for the purchase to go through

I believe it's the dreamcatcher and if I were you, I'd ask the buyer if she minds that I cancel for buyer requested and relist with Ground Advantage shipping. It would be a very lightweight item and inexpensive to ship.

Is it for the water jug cooler? If so, you have it listed as "freight".  You will have to add a shipping charge to the listing. If you have agreed on a price, you can change the listing shipping from "freight" and choose "flat rate" and enter the cost in the listing's shipping. After that the buyer should be able to purchase.

Is the shipping a lot of money? Because shipping a cheap item with expensive shipping charges is risky. If the buyer files a Item Not As Described to return case, you eat the shipping.

Adding shipping cost to item in order for the purchase to go through

Hello! Thanks for your reply. No, it's not the cooler. The buyer purchased the item using the Buy Now option, but when she went to pay, it was listed as freight and to contact the seller; it would not allow her to go through with the purchase without the shipping cost. The item is no longer active and I don't know how to go back and revise it with the shipping fee. That is why I was thinking about relisting it and have her "repurchase"? I'm relatively new to eBay so I am at a loss...

Thank you so much for your advice. It is the dream catcher, and yes, the shipping cost I received is based on the Ground Advantage option.

You can't revise a listing for an item that has been Sold.  Try sending an invoice.
