Adding a New Shipping Option for USPS.

As a Seller I do not have the option to send a .99 item First Class Mail without a Tracking number in a Listing nor to offer a Secondary Shipping 2-3 First Class Package with tracking. Knowing that if a Customer complains they never received their item with First Class Mail without a Tracking number I the Seller am responsible to refund the Buyer. Than I can chose to BLOCK  the Buyer if  this occurs to many times.

First Class Postage without Tracking takes 3-7 Business Days. This is the Honer System to save everyone money on shipping on small priced purchases But, I do not have the option to offer a secondary shipping 2-3 First Class with Tracking for $2.66. Ebay Fees, Paypal Fees, and Postage with tracking cost a minimum of $3.20. Customers will not pay .99 for an item and then Pay $3.20 on shipping. Ebay is losing money for this problem. I do not know for the life of me how other Countries can get away with selling a .99 item and have a Tracking Number? I can't touch a Tracking Number for under $2.66 even with an Ebay Discount to boot in the USA!

USPS First Class Mail with a DATE STAMP and FRAGILE STAMP by the Post Office on the Letter. This shows date sent and fragile will ONLY let your item be Hand Sorted by USPS.
I am asking Ebay Presonal to add First Class Mail without a Tracking Number as an Option in USPS Shipping Services available at a Sellers risk to enable a Secondary Shipping Offer of 2-3 Day First Class Package With a Tracking Number to be Offered in a Listing.

Thank you,

Paul T.

As a Seller I do not have the option to send a .99 item First Class Mail without a Tracking number in a Listing nor to offer a Secondary Shipping 2-3 First Class Package with tracking.

When you set up your listing choose generic Standard Shipping for your first choice with your flat S&H charge for a letter.

For the second option choose First Class Package with your flat S&H charge for a parcel.

I do not know for the life of me how other Countries can get away with selling a .99 item and have a Tracking Number?

Either they are selling at a loss or they are from a country with a very generous postage deal.  Or both.

Even if you got to mail your 99 cent items for free, how much actual profit would you make?  Anything?

USPS First Class Mail with a DATE STAMP and FRAGILE STAMP by the Post Office on the Letter. This shows date sent and fragile will ONLY let your item be Hand Sorted by USPS.

Are you paying the postage for a nonmachinable letter?  If not, your fragile stamp doesn't get your letter hand sorting.

Adding a New Shipping Option for USPS.

Just did a random check of  four of your current listings and found that the Standard Shipping you are offering is defined by eBay as First Class Package  - which you offer at 99 cents.  Just click on the the words see details right after the words Standard Shipping.

You might want to fix this before it  becomes an issue with a buyer by revising your  shipping to Economy.

That shipping section does need revising.  But the current shipping option should be revised to generic "Standard shipping" and then the OP can add First Class package as a second option.
