I sell on many platforms and this is the first time that I am accused of selling a counterfeit item by a buyer. Apparently, the buyer received an item at 4PM on Jan 12th and emailed me an hour later after receiving it, claiming that she already took it to Coach and it was confirmed there that the item is fake. Furthermore, she claimed that my item was plastic and not leather. Later in a day, she filed a dispute and posted a negative feedback - my first negative feedback. I have numerous current reviews from buyers who are very satisfied with my Coach and other items. I called Ebay, spoke to someone in Asia, and was assured that the feeback will be removed. Today, I received an email from Ebay stating that the feedback will not be removed. I emailed back and forth with Ebay and I am shocked that they refuse to remove a feedback since the buyer posted that I sold her a counterfeit item. I replied to a dispute, but you can only attach a jpeg file while the buyer is allowed to write a full explanation. My fund are on hold, but since I cannot email or call anyone in the United States ,how do I submit proof that the item in real? I have an invoice from a department store from which I purchased all the items with a picture and the description of the item. However, Ebay does not seem to be concerned about protecting its sellers. I am thinking of pulling out all my items priced $100 or more from Ebay since I am scared of going through this again.

Here is what you do:
Dear Buyer, Sorry you are unhappy with your purchase. Please return it for a full refund. Attached is a prepaid return postage label.
Sincerely, Seller.
You are taking it personal. It's not personal, it's business. Every mail order business has to deal with returns.

I don't see any listings sold under this ID that received negative feedback, so we can't comment as to the authenticity of the Coach item. I'd be scared of going through it again, too... it'll wreck your seller metrics.
Good luck.

Ebay will not become involved in determining if an item is counterfeit. Simply accept the return and if you do not receive back the item you sent them, you have other options. I would not engage further with them, either in the dispute or ebay messaging. There's nothing you can do when they want to return for a refund as ebay will allow it and if you fight it, ebay will penalize you if they have to step in.
It appears ebay removed the negative feedback left for you. However, you left the buyer this feedback: BEWARE OF THIS BUYER! Claimed my wallet purchased from Macy's is fake! Sellers are not allowed to leave such feedback for buyers. It's been this way for years.

To add insult to injury, if the buyer reports the feedback you left, you will receive a ding on your account (maybe a defect) and the feedback will be removed.
A better choice would have been to reply to her negative with something like 'sorry you were not satisfied, please return for a full refund'. That shows you are willing to work with buyers when they aren't happy. Your feedback for them, not only a violation, but it repeats what they said in their feedback. It's like you gave yourself a negative.

"Simply accept the return and if you do not receive back the item you sent them, you have other options."
I don't know that the OP has other options. Not a TRS and offering a 'No Returns' policy... no ability to reduce the amount of the refund. The rest of your post is spot on.
I'm glad the negative was removed. Be proactive with the Return and hope to get your item back. Going forward, you might want to revisit your Returns policy. We sellers have so few. Breathe...

The way that you wrote the title does suggest that the wallet is leather so they probably read that and ignored the last part of the title mentioning the signature canvas.

How would eBay know that your item is genuine? They wouldn’t. you having a receipt means nothing - you could have bought a genuine item for yourself, and sent a fake.

Your listing says it's leather, then canvas, then leather and canvas. This was a NAD waiting to happen.
