APO packages getting returned for no customs form

We print our shipping labels from eBay. Over the past month, I've had two packages headed for APO addresses get returned by USPS, they say "RETURN FOR EXPORT COMPLIANCE".

Has something changed?

I remember from many years ago that APO addresses had customs form style labels. Then eBay stopped doing that kind of label and there were no problems for a long time. But now they are getting rejected.

When I do an APO address label from Stamps.com it uses the customs form style label. I think eBay needs to make a change here!

I guess I'll use stamps.com for APO addresses from now on so this will stop happening.

Every time I have shipped to an APO, I needed a customs form.

Just attach the customs form to all packages that leave the country.  That way they will be happy.

The same thing happened to me. APO package was returned and I had to fill out a customs form at the post office.

It seems that there has been a problem with ebay labels to APO addresses no longer providing a customs form. The form is required and its my understanding that it used to be included. This has been a problem for a few months, is someone looking into it?

Hello,  Just wondering if you have any information about this yet?   It's been a problem since at least October of last year. If you need board post links,  @wastingtime101  has posted links in post 6.
