Recently I just started selling some things from my parents' estate and one was returned as defective, and I just received notification that another is also being returned as defective.
Both were older electronics but new in packaging, so I'm at the point now that I don't dare list any more electronics.
What effect, if any, will the returns have on my seller account, especially two within a week? They were automatically approved.

As a small seller, there is nothing to worry about so long as you take care of the refunds properly and don't get a seller defect.
The SNAD returns will show up in your seller metrics, but you have to have 10 of these in a year within a specific category before you would be considered to suffer any sort of consequence.
