3 days and no tracking info available

I have sold 2 items and it has been picked up from my mailman got a confirm email and all

It has been 3 days for both items and there has been no tracking info avaliable at all
This is weird as I usually get an update the next day

Anyone else have this problem?

Since the beta version of the Guaratneed Delivery program started, USPS seemingly and  deliberately have not been scanning packages.

Seems to be going around. I sent 2 out yesterday, neither had a scan as of today. I guess I'm back into standing in line.  I'm sure they'll be delivered in time, but still the USPS should really make it easy for us that drop it off AT the PO. They have a new box with a scanner, but its down 80% of the time. When it works, it works well, even on Sun it shows acceptance.   ;(

Maybe your mail carrier picked up the packages but did not actually scan them? Or maybe he/she accidentally left the packages in the truck? Or in a bin of mail that was later delivered to a business on the route?

Sometimes I drop small First Class Mail packages in a street collection bin and there's no scan for 36 to 48 hours, although the actual pick-up is within 2 hours of the drop. These are personal packages, not eBay, and they bear stamps and a Label 400. Delivery occurs in a timely manner.

I suggest you request e-mailed status updates from the USPS T&C screen. I did this last week for an eBay package that did not show a delivery scan. The last scan showed "available for pick-up" the morning of August 23. I knew the customer had received the package on August 24. Within 4 hours of my inquiry, the tracking record was updated to show delivery to the PO parcel locker on August 25, a day after the customer had physically picked up the package.

Bottom line: Mistakes happen. But they are easily corrected.
