Hi everyone,
I have always shipped within 24H of receipt of payment, and all my shipping is free to maintain the premium service, however I have recently sold a couple of items the same day, and they were both paid the following day, so by set routine shipping was planned for the following day to payment receipt day, except that eBay has posted a large red banner next to one of these two items warning me that I am late shipping this item, which has been paid for less than 7 hours previously, something I have never seen before
when I contacted C/S I was told that I undertook to post same day if payment was made before 9.0 am. when I clicked on revise the one remaining I sew this highlighted radio button with the same message about 9.0 am payment and same day shipping. I use the listing form every day, and all my items are shipped with the same setting, and I have never seen this, then I checked all other items, and it seems that this item was pulled out of a hat at random.
shouldn't eBay notify sellers when they run these sinister experiments in the back ground? or is this their way to blemish sellers performance in pursuit of financial penalties?
could someone please help?
many thanks

You won't be affected by 1 late shipment.
It isn't an eBay experiment, and the numbers sound off if you noticed the banner within 7 hours of payment.

Never advisable to suggest the possibility of increased income, that has been overlooked

I also specify 1-day shipping, and my Set same business day handling times is 9:00 AM Pacific Time.
