I have used LetterTrack Pro since January 2019 without any issues (that were not created by me)..
I use it to allow customers and me to track Letters and Manila envelopes sent in the US and PR. I average 0.24 cents per letter for the scan-able barcode + .55 USPS postage. this is far less expensive than paying almost $3.00 for items that weigh less than an ounce (or add 0.20 for the additional ounce postage stamp).
I have used it for around 350 letters so far. I have had 2 eBay customers state that they did not receive their order - I sent them the LetterTrack Pro information & the address it was mailed to so they know which day the Letter was out for delivery. 1 of the customers actually forgot to update their mailing address in paypal - when I got the undelivered letter back - I resent it to her new address and tracked that too. The 2nd customer was scheduled to receive the letter the next day - they were impatient.
Just a side note - usps also has a feature called informed delivery - where they post picture images of the letters to be delivered that day. They keep 7 days of history on their website. Your customers can use that feature also to look for the letter on the day it was flagged as out for delivery - so they can see the post office had it in their possession on the day of delivery.
I have also asked paypal & ebay to add LetterTrackPro as an option to add the tracking number when we mark the order as shipped - no clue yet if they will do that.

Did you even read my post? I have been tracking these since January - around 350 of them. I provide my customers with the tracking number and LetterTrackPro link.
When it is out for delivery - and the customer says they didn't get it - I point them to USPS Informed Delivery - which shows a scanned image of their mail up to the previous 7 days.

LetterTrack does not provide a "delivered" status. That is the key status that is used by eBay and PayPal for Item Not Received claims ... so, it is useless for eBay/PayPal tracking purposes.
That said, as you noted, it can help give a customer some information about the progress of a shipment.

If a seller wants to consider this a customer service expense (as you noted, in order to give a customer some shipping information), then I can see how it might have some benefit for a buyer's shopping experience.
However at your mailing level, you are paying 24 cents (or more) per piece, which is more than $84 for this service to protect/track 2 items ... unless the value of those two items is greater than $84, I would think that this would be unnecessarily cutting into your profits.
I still maintain that eBay does not provide a good business model for US Sellers who are selling one-of-a-kind, low cost items under about $15-20 ... unless one enjoys making under minimum wage.

I kind of doubt they will because that tracking number will never ever show as Delivered. Your selling account will show nothing but undelivered shipments. Any buyer who figures that out will realize that they can file an INR and win.
The problem here is that the product offers false hope and glosses over the fact that the tracking will never show as Delivered. Tracking it along the way is great as far as it goes. But when push comes to shove you will end up refunding the buyer anyway because you will not be able to prove that it was delivered. The comments below their Youtube video include a post from a seller on another site who already got burned by that. LetterTrack has not responded.

I've had many items that informed delivery said we're in my mail never show up. Granted it was junk mail for the most part, but I've had 2 packages and a gift card not show.
You are aware that ANYONE can sign up for I D for any address

Informed delivery is not perfect. the picture of your mail is taken at the sorting facility, not at your local PO by your carrier. Your letter / package can be damaged after the picture has been taken. One of the clerks at the PO, who got to see the process in action, said it was unbelievable how many envelopes and packages got jammed up after picture taking...and might not be out for delivery the day expected. Or the next day.
