2 buyers say 2 of my listings are different that what I see

This could be a total coincidence… But in the last two days I’ve had two return requests for clothing items  that buyers received that were the “wrong size “.  One said they ordered a 5XL and I sent him a Large; one was claiming I sent a size 28 (pants) and he ordered a size 34.   My listings show size Large and size 28 respectively, in the photos, item specifics, and in the description.  Maybe they were showing up in a search for the incorrect size?  ( i’m trying to find more information from the buyers).

Just curious if this has happened to anyone else?  I want to help identify a system error early if there is one. (Although it could have just been 2 confused buyers back to back)

Thanks!

Mark

Wonder if those buyers purchased from a product page? They  never seem to link the correct listing with the page

Have you checked all areas your where your items are being displayed? Have family or friends pull them up? If you call ebay, maybe they can shed some light on the situation. How are you handling the returns? It will be so wrong if this is simply coincidence that two buyers made mistakes and expect you to pay for it. On the other hand, if there truly is an issue it needs to be corrected for sure. I would call ebay. Maybe this is another of their "glitches." if it is, they need to fix it.

Good points!  Thank you for the reply.  I did check other browsers from different devices (not logged in) and they seem to show fine and appear in the appropriate search filters.

I’m going to chalk it up to a coincidence this time and avoid calling eBay unless it happens again or I get feedback on this forum that this is systemic.

For the returns, I refunded one immediately (less expensive item, and the other I’m waiting for the item to ship to refund)— I have free returns and am happy to comply.

I asked each for more information (I told him I was just curious on how they thought the item was different than what it’s listed… I tried hard not to place any blame on them or eBay …I got a reply that they “wouldn’t have purchased the item if it was a size 28...”.  He is replying in Spanish so I’m not going to push for more specifics to avoid further confusion with translation.

Thank you again! Hopefully this is not another glitch
