Sorry, this is far more a rant than it is anything else, but also wondering if any other sellers have any ways of circumventing the mindless drones that seem to answer EbayZon phones these days... Cookie cutter read from a page answers where nobody can make rational decisions anymore..
Already annoyed I have 2 literal buyers remorse cases that are opened as not as described right now. Buyer who in no uncertain way never read the description/looked at listing pics & opened cases based on the exact flaws I told them about... Zilch I can do, ebayzon is forcing me to take the items back, stealing the shipping fees each way & of course, furthering the building of the culture where buyers have all the protection, sellers get none.. but on the heels of those two bogus cases comes the most insane thing I have seen in my 15 years on ebayzon.
Buyer made offer, I accept. Buyer doesn't pay, I open unpaid item case. Buyer still doesn't pay, I close case. 24 hours later I get a case opened up by the non paying buyer that they never received the item!!!! I have 2 choices in the case:
1) Write buyer a message
2) Issue buyer a REFUND... a REFUND on an item they didn't pay for
I call ebayzon, 10000% certain this is utterly just going to be closed in my favor instantly... NOPE.
Get told by an agent as well as their supervisor they cannot close this case, it needs to stay open for buyer/seller communications & will have to time out after 21 days.
What in the *^$**#$^$*&$*(#* is wrong with this company????
NOT even amazon will give a refund or hold a case open for someone who NEVER PAID FOR AN ITEM.
This level of insanity is getting beyond the reward of the dwindling profit at this point.
