Did you mean:

would someone kindly check this for me?

Would someone check for me?

I came home to a nasty message from a prospective buyer accusing me of trying to trick her.

Item number is:

183264165620

She accused me of listing the item as free shipping but then covertly charging shipping as a way to scam innocent buyers and threatening to report me to ebay for somehow hiding the shipping cost from Ebay and buyers until after they pay in order to scam money from both ebay and innocent buyers.

I see shipping charged on the original listing.  Ebay said they see shipping clearly charged but she is screaming that her computer shows free shipping.

I'm at a loss as to what to think.

Her state is California.

Thank you kindly for your help and time.

Is she seeing this on the ebay app.

I believe I read, where there was a glitch with that for shipping showing it is free when it is not.

My gosh, that glitch is what, three or four years old? Is that still happening?

Just putting it out there.

But it could be that this seller is also offering free local pickup.  So maybe that is the mixup.

I'm seeing $7.90 shipping to my location, both on my desktop and on the mobile app.

Shows $7.90 USPS Priority Mail shipping for me - and I'm in Michigan.

I think what she might be confused about is that I noticed  you also are offering Free Local Pick-up.  Is she planning on driving cross-country to pick up her purchase?    Maybe she doesn't understand what "Free Local Pick-Up" means or maybe you didn't realize you had it also on your listings as a "shipping alternative?"

If the message is truly nasty/abusive/accusatory, you probably want to put this customer on your blocked list.

I realize you didn't ask for listing advice, but I have to point out something I noticed. If the human sized shirt you used as a backdrop is not included, you shouldn't show it in your pictures. A buyer could easily claim not as described and win the case.

@linus.hux72fe Since you offer free local pickup, she either saw that and thinks it’s free shipping or she saw what I recently saw on one of my purchases where local pickup was an option and eBay incorrectly stated that free local pickup is free shipping—in the shipping & payments tab it showed UPS shipping, then it where it showed local pickup it also said FREE SHIPPING! My thread with a screen shot of this is here https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/Free-local-pickup-showing-as-free-shipping/m-p/28501702

This is what I’m talking about—it says free shipping above free local pickup. She probably saw that too. But when she checks out, she’s seeing a shipping cost

Reply nice to the potential buyer that the listing has been checked by eBay, and others, and shows shipping. Suggest that possibly she is seeing the  free local pickup.

Then increase your BBL by 1

Why would she think the the shipping was covert if she can not see it?

Thank you all very kindly.  I didn't know I had free pick up.  Maybe that is what she is seeing?  I removed that now.  I can't understand how that got turned on since I've never used it before.  It's probably my mistake but then I awakened to find a bunch of my listings changed to best offer and a couple with offers and messages explaining to me how Ebay said i have to accept best offers.

This place is getting kind of rough and nasty when buyers feel ok messaging sellers calling them names and telling them what they have to take for their goods or they will report them as scammers.

Thank you all kindly for your help.
