Buyer in New Zealand and zero feedback.  I'm thinking i should cancel?

Agree, though no signature delivery and zero feedback.  With US sale im sure i have some legal right to go after the buyer who comitted the fraud, i'm thinking new zealand im up the creek without a paddle??

I don't see anything sold on the ID you're posting with.  I'm thinking you should tell us what the widget is.

If I was concerned about International shipping on a high value item I would have set up my shipping preferences when listing the item. If you have other high value items listed this is something you need to evaluate.

What reason are you going to give.

 

Out of stock or not going through with it will result in a defect.

 

Problem with address would be a lie.

Really .....

 

Fed Ex International Express would be the only way to get a signature confirmation. If they can buy an 8k jacket, they can pay for the shipping.

Jacket doesn't tell me much. I sold a vintage WW2 flight jacket for 5 grand its researching secondary market values of the item and scammers are after easy flip merchandise not so much long tail stuff...

... round trip air fare for the OP/Seller to hand carry it for delivery in person.

 

 

This is why we really need to see the seller IDs in these threads.  OP may be able to safely absorb the cancellation hit.
