Hi @nipath_68

Cancel the sale siting the buyer did not pay and they will receive a strike on their account. Then block them from further bidding on any more of your items:

https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/BuyerBlock?

As a new seller you should also  consider this:

Avoid auction style listings with best offers and list all your items at a fixed buy it now price with immediate payment required checked off.  Sport bidders and non - paying bidders steer clear of these listings as they must pay instantly.  These types of listings will help you accumulate some feedback as well.  You may want to consider lowering your prices.  You have lots of competition with other sellers selling the same items for much less.

Hope this has been helpful.  Good luck with future sales.  You have a nice shop.

If the member won the auction, they are allowed up to 4 days to pay.  After that point, you can file a non-payment complaint and eBay will cancel the sale and add a non-payment strike to the member's account.  Enough strikes (no one knows how many, but we suspect it's quite a few) and the member is restricted from purchasing.

eBay had a service called the Unpaid Item Assistant, which was something sellers could activate that would give buyers X days to make payment.  That feature has now been changed a bit - you can still use the UPI Assistant, or you can just wait and manually file your complaint with eBay after X days.  The result is the same -- the unpaid order is cancelled, you can then relist (and likely resell, as now your listing has a history of making a sale, so use relist, not sell similar), and the buyer earns a strike on their account.

I prefer putting my settings into my accounts (I have three selling IDs - all perfectly legal) and let eBay handle it all for me.  My selling tool tracks listings, sales, payments, shipments - all that tedious stuff.  I just pull up the Ready To Ship list, print my packslips, and pull/pack/ship everthing that's been paid for.  If a sale 'goes away', it normally happens in Waiting For Payment and I don't have to do anything.  Except relist the product. 🙂

Yeah... after a career in IT, I can honestly say I much prefer having my computers do the tedious stuff so I can do the other things I enjoy more.  Properly used/configured automation is like a 24/7 assistant who doesn't mind the tedium and doesn't need to eat, sleep, or get paid.  🙂

If the buyer doesn't pay within 4 full days, then you can cancel the transaction, choosing "Buyer didn't pay" as the reason.  As noted in the extensive reply above, you can choose to have eBay do this automatically. Here is the Help page about what to do if a buyer doesn't pay:
