Re: what is managed payment?

It is how eBay sellers get paid

Getting paid for items you’ve sold

If you are not signed up, you won’t receive any payouts for items you’ve sold.

Re: what is managed payment?

Since you have items listed, you should sign up for managed payments or you will not get paid.

I see sales since October. Have you not been paid for any of those yet?  😲

'Managed Payments' means nothing to a buyer... only to sellers. So it won't help you with your issue.

Managed payments is eBays method of paying their sellers. There is no more Paypal.  To be honest, there is no lay away option on eBay that allows customers to pay at their own pace.  You are the seller and payments must be remitted to the seller in the time frame eBay requires.  After 5 days, you should file a non payment cancellation.  Sellers work hard at their shops.  We are in this business to make money, not chase it.  Just my opinion.

Managed payments is one of the reasons my sales are so slow!

Re: what is managed payment?

eBay allows buyers to pay within 4 days or 96 hours.
Giving buyers more time to pay usually never works out. 4 days is plenty of time to pay for their purchase. After the 4th day you should be cancelling citing buyer didn’t pay.

Re: what is managed payment?

If you want to allow buyers more time to pay, you can check your settings under your Selling Preferences and adjust accordingly.  Most people here like to cancel after 4 days, but we like to allow longer.  You can also adjust your settings for how long customers have to combine purchases.
