I have an account from 25 years ago, it started in the USA.
I moved to Sweden and switched the location of the account at some point to Sweden ..
Now I am back in USA.. and I cannot switch the location back.. it is stuck on Sweden... even though I am now in USA. Selling items from USA.
I wouldn't care about this detail myself except.. when I goto list any items they ask for shipping details so that they can show me vendors to ship with... except NONE are coming up .. leaving the only option as "Pickup" from Sweden...
I jumped into a chat session with a support person who incorrectly claimed accounts can never be switched.. which I know is false since i indeed switched at one point..
Feels like i just have to start a brand new whole account , or use a better service to sell my things in

Yeah, you may need to start a new account. With Managed Payments eBay prevents users from switching country of registration in most situations.

I'll add a piece of advice @hwy9nightkid . When you create your new account, register for payments with your bank and your ID, verify your identity, the whole 9 ... what you can do is contact customer service and ask them to link both your old and new accounts to see if that will get you a little boost in new seller listing limits (if you need them - you may not).
