Have you checked your ebay messages?????   You have 3 not shipped negs........I'm guessing ebay is restricting you for defects..........which means you cannot edit listings......

Can you explain what you mean by your screen turning opaque? That’s not an issue I’ve heard of, I don’t think. A screenshot would be great.

Have you received any warning messages from ebay?  That you are under any kind of restriction?

Something very similar happened to me, and because of it, I shipped something heavy with free shipping. I wasn't very happy about that, but nothing I could do. I can't remember exactly how I fixed it, but this is what I remember about what I did.

Click business policies on the far left of your sellers hub screen.

Find shipping preferences.

If I recall, I just deleted the shipping business policy altogether. I had never added it in the first place, somehow eBay added it to my account. I wanted to keep what I already had been doing, which was just plain shipping based on weight and size of my package.

Good luck.

when the new labels came out it caught me off guard, I have always had free shipping with my orders, some of my orders are small $3 to $5 but i managed with small shipping fee's around a buck, the new labels are about $5 or more {how do i justify paying $5 shipping on a $3 item or even a $5 dollar item. there is no way you can avoid shipping without the label. so i need to add $5 shipping fee's to all of my items, except i'm locked out of being able to make any changes , when i try to go into my inventory the screen turns opaque with a ghosting effect, meanwhile the orders keep piling up, and the head office is screaming , and buyers are requesting refunds . i've always been able to edit my inventory , my nerd friends are stumped and no help from eBay, meanwhile my feedback rating is headed south, and i'm about 40 orders behind and late. if any of you experts have any ideas i'm all ears, feels like i'm in the middle of a train wreak.    thank you for reading this,  Don

It sounds like you're in the wrong line of work.

so...........if i fill the orders i lose. if i don't fill the orders i LOSE (something about a catch 22 in there) one heck of a way to run a railroad .........has anyone out there ever talked to a human on eBay ?  I know they have all their rules that you can refer to, but what if their rules don't address your problem ? the last time i had tech. work on my comp. it cost $480 for 4 hrs. and the bottom line was   "I'm not really that familiar with mac's "                             dhbookds i think your right about being restricted , but what does that accomplish ?  thanks for reading

No when i realized that i had to buy the label to fill the order no matter the price of my offering that it wasn't going to work, my first thought was to edit my items and post the $4.95 label cost as a shipping cost to them like most of the operators ,the buyers are totally unaware that the sellers are paying the fee when they buy the label. i've had buyers buy 4 of the cheaper items $3 each (one at a time) which cost me almost $20 to ship $12 worth of merchandise .  I have to admit the labels are a good idea if the sellers are protected by charging the buyers the shipping . then the buyers are aware and would condense their purchases into one order which defrays the shipping cost.  in answer to your question " I  had no warning of any restriction placed on me, in fact when i first discovered the problem i tried to edit my offerings to cover the shipping , only to find that i was locked out

Those negs date to sales in mid Sept....if you haven't filled any orders since then, you've got a slew of problems.  Being able to change listings won't help those sold items or the current solds.   You're obligated to ship them as sold.

Ebay is presumably refunding to the buyers as they file cases....and you will probably be booted off shortly.......

I certainly could be wrong....and hope I am.....for your sake......but I doubt there is anything at this point you can do.....
