my fiancé had a Ebay store which I help with for 20 years.  I just spoke with eBay's customer service trying to get everything transferred to me and they and they said I cannot change his ss to mine (as he passed away).  I was wondering if anyone knows of any 3rd party listing tool to be able to transfer his listing to my Ebay account.  any help would be appreciated.

@panther4860

So very sorry for your loss.  You need to open your own account.  God bless you & yours at this very difficult time. 📿

Sorry for your loss also. Best of luck going forward.

Perhaps you can delete all of his items and relist under your account. Hopefully it isn't in the hundreds.

Just remember to monitor his account for a period for any return requests.

Hi @panther4860 . Sorry for your loss. Do you have access to log in to his account? If the answer is yes:

You can use third party listing software to download listings from his account, then upload them to your own account. Many services offer a free one week trial.

Other sellers can offer their personal recommendations. I've seen SixBit referenced quite a lot.

To answer the question the OP actually asked: Yes, there are third party tools that will accomplish what you ask (transfer his listings to your account).

SixBit claims they can do it:

This can't be done.  The feedback was earned and can't be sold.  You can't transfer anything that personal for the same reason you can't pay somebody to do your jail time.

Yes SixBit could handle this quite easily but even for temporary use the learning curve is steep.

Although I have been using SixBit and it's predecessors (blackthorne, Seller Assistant) for 23 years for the OP's purpose I would suggest WonderLister which is a very similar program.

Pretty sure they offer a 30 day trial and as far as I know they can handle multiple selling accounts (some editions might be limited to a single eBay account).

For both of these programs the process would be fairly simple, you install the program and download the current running listings (and probably anything that ended in the past 60 days), then change the eBay account and upload.

I have never investigated but it might be possible to use eBay Reports to accomplish the same thing but I think there are some issues that make that difficult plus it's somewhat more complex when you don't have a clean user interface with the API that you get with a program like SixBit or WonderLister.

I have 4 selling accounts linked to SixBit, it's a snap to move listings from one account to another.

Depending on the number of listings you are running you might even find these third-party tools are well worth the cost. Virtually every day I read about various eBay issues that NEVER effect me because I use SixBit for almost everything eBay (Still use the Seller Hub for Performance and Research stuff plus a few functions like returns which SixBit does not handle).

I used the free trial of 3D sellers to move thousands of listings from one account to another when my wife and I decided we wanted to have one account for cards and one for everything else.  It was pretty easy.

That's not what the OP is asking.
