eBay

Not sure i understand the question. Can you elaborate?

None. This is not an advertising site for sellers to post other sites on. If you list something here it is for here only. You can list on others sites at the same time as this one though. It is tricky because you would have to watch your item very closely in case it sells elsewhere.

Right here on Ebay. Use your social media buttons to get traffic to your site. They're at the top right hand of your page.

I think you are basically asking what social media sites can you use to dive traffic TO your ebay store. I don't think ebay has an approved list....use whichever sites work for you: Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
But remember, you can't advertise your social media sites on ebay. It's a one way street...you can send people from your Facebook page to ebay, but you can't send people from ebay to your Facebook page.

Is it legal to sell dirt or other dirt like products from Sri Lanka? Is that going to cause issues with our soil? Did eBay OK those?

Pretty ambigious question and not sure what you mean but why would you use a social media website like FB marketplace to direct potential buyers to your store? Simply utilize the other site to sell the item directly and avoid the eBay fees. Lots of seasoned sellers are diversified across multiple ecommerce platforms.
