Tracking for Ebay packages are not updating. This has been happening about 2 weeks. Getting emails from buyers not happy. I stood at the post office Monday and watched the clerk scan in the packages. still no update on My ebay. Is ebay going to help with with bad feedback from buyers for this issue?

Do you see tracking scans at USPS.com?

eBay is the source of truth for tracking - the shipping carrier is. What does the USPS website show for tracking?

So you have a tracking number but the tracking is showing no movement with the USPS?
That's not a ebay issue.
That's a usps issue.

The only important thing is the stuff getting delivered?
I received a $500.00 stamp collection today from the West coast that the
tracking shows "Shipping label created" and it managed to
get from CA to IN without a single scan.
We go thru this every year at this time with the USPS
employees taking more short cuts than usual.

Every time my listings tell me to provide tracking it has been my own fault for getting a number wrong. 24 hours after I fix the tracking number it shows delivered.

I guess sometimes getting it cheaper using eBay shipping labels may not be cheaper in the long run.
But everyone here says you save so much money using eBay shipping labels.
I use USPS shipping and have never had a problem with tracking...costs more but I don't have to waste my time figuring out what's going on...Got to remember the post office came before eBay and although they have an understanding of the shipping procedures...it is what it is.

Are you aware that eBay shipping labels are USPS shipping labels, assuming one chooses a USPS service? It's the same exact label you'd buy at the PO counter, but cheaper for every package service except Media Mail.

Word. I use eBay labels & it's never been a problem. But someone made a thread on the seller forum saying they're having issues, so I don't know if the thousands I've saved using eBay labels is worth it...

Do we know that 'shipping' using postage at a counter with a clerk at a USPS post office that items will have no problems compared to eBay shipping labels?
Have you done both to compare?
Or are you just reading links?

Reading what links?
My aunt shipped a package to me buying her postage label at the PO counter about 6 weeks ago. I just received it. Buying a label at the PO counter does not mean no problems during shipping.
It makes no difference where you buy the label in terms of problems during transit if the weight/dimensions/service are all accurate. There is a big difference in cost, though.

'about 6 weeks ago. I just received it.'
And do you live in a city or somewhere where? and also where your aunt lives. I live in a city.
We kinda don't know where you live or your aunt.
No disrespects.
There are farms and unincorporated areas(not a town or city) in the USA where shipping can be slow.

City to city and she used a Priority Medium Flat Rate Box. Should have gotten to me within a few days.

The tracking info one finds on the Selling page in My eBay sometimes experiences a delay in updating. Reassure your concerned buyer and direct their attention to the most timely source of their package’s tracking details—the carrier’s site. That will usually provide the most accurate tracking data.
If interested, sellers can go a step farther to quell an anxious buyer. One can sign up for the carrier’s tracking updates via text or email on the shipping company’s website.
Then one can more easily keep an eye out during the package’s transit thru the mail-stream, and can opt to send accurate updated tracking details to the buyer as progress is made.
