Ebay is asking for too many item specifics. I just relisted a pair of earrings. They were platinum and gold. Ebay wanted over 7 item specifics about gemstones. There were none. As it is I'm wasting 1-2 hours a week filling out item specifics. Then when I relist if ebay doesn't have my specific ,in its que I have to do it all over again!! What a waste of my time!! Ebay needs to roll it back!

I have recommendations by ebay that are totally wrong, and seem to override my input, this is for a hostess set of vintage china, over 3 pages of item specifics when the buyer just has to search by name, there are not a million of them out there, ebay has a few if any of the same type I am selling.

I'm fortunate that books and sewing patterns, my main products , have fewer specifics, but I when I update I have N/A ready to cut and paste into the popup, and also check off  Do Not Show Again.

Not sure if the second part works, but it makes me feel better.

These people are crazy! They delete all my item specifics and now want more item specifics that do not apply to a category. I took down 90% of my listings. No sane business model works this way.

Yup! ...that will indeed work marvelously!

I'd only fill in "required" , ignore most else, and "remove" anything that can be "removed"...and then apply "sell similar" for all subsequent listings..

It's like harassment of small seller. I notice when I'm buying something I am not even seeing the 1000 items specifics listed in the sellers post...so what's up with that. Sometimes a cup is just a cup. My guess is this an attempt to push us small sellers over to mercari.

Yes we are being harassed by ebay as small sellers. Also see if u can even see those item specifics they ask you for in your own post as a buyer. They are not listed there. This is **bleep**

I've written No Stones about ten times per listing.

And yes, the questions are stupid, repetitive and don't take other answers into account when the really should.  If you click No Stones, all stone questions should vanish.  But no, they don't and then they add more!  What kind of setting does you it doesn't have any stones bracelet have?
