I am a seller as well as an active buyer on eBay, and lately, I have been seeing a lot of people doing drop shipping because of which most of the buyers on eBay have lost faith in it. Last week I bought this car snow scraper which I thought was the best price and after looking at the brand name, I looked it up online, and there is a company who is selling it for like $10 lesser. I do not know how can we selling good products when the entire market is so messed up. I mean most of the buyers these days look up the product information, and the first thing google shows up is shopping and what is the best price available.

I call it an obvious way to get bad feedback. With 3 neutrals at this stage of your career I don't see a great future ahead for you.

@rixstuff wrote:My argument against drop shipping is that I would NEVER trust someone else to ship for me. They may send the wrong thing, they may not ship at all, the item may be SNAD, etc. I learned early on to NEVER list anything I had not held in my own hand to make sure 1. you actually have it, 2. you accurately describe it.
and yes as you pointed out, if someone else is selling it for $10 less, I already bought it directly from them.
Exactly. Buyer claims SNAD, how can you argue that when you've never even seen the item for yourself? They may very well be right.

If a buyer claims SNAD, the seller is going to waste a lot of time trying to argue about it.

And Variation abuse ($2.99 for "gift box" in a $519.00 diamond ring listing) … also called "bait and switch" by buyers who hate the practice 😞
Ebay really needs to crack down on these scams.

I took a look at more of your listings, I'm pretty sure your sources will be delighted know you're borrowing their photos. Oddly enough, I've had a relationship with at least one of them for 15 years.

Good to know you have a relationship with one of them from past 15 years. However your ID was created two days ago, i guess the community is about a discussion and not bicker. So my thing works for me, and I hope you do good as well. This topic was more about people losing their faith in eBay because of the inferior product, pricing, and quality.

This place is overrun with drop-shippers. Started around 07-08 after Ebay tested that "New Ebay" site they had. So much duplicate junk that clogs up the site.
And now I've encountered a used book seller who is also drop-shipping. Tough to find a "real" seller to buy from any more.

Oh so it's not about you being a hypocrite and doing the very thing you claim to hate others doing?

How many ids have you crashed and burned already?
1) that seems to be how drop shippers work. Use a single id until it has so many negs and neutrals that a new id is better.
2) you sure don't act like someone with 129 feedback. Just like the id that you point out is 2 days old. I don't need to check how many transactions, or how long someone has been here. I can see what they type and tell you how much experience they have here. Alot of things you only know by selling, and selling for a longer period of time.

My granddaddy used to joke "If you buy a diamond for 99 cents youre getting a rock that aint worth a buck!"

you should put a separate listing up for the boxes. what you're doing is underhanded and dirty. I wish eBay would ban everybody who practices this.
