Did you mean:

small typo on buyer address

hi. the buyers address on both ebay and paypal says "pnes" instead of "pines" (second word of city) on the shipping address.

if i correct this typo will i void seller protection? what even is seller protection? what would you do?

i figure it will get there fine with "pnes," but buyer has left about 33% negative feedback for others and just sent me a message saying this is a very important gift and to send asap. anything goes slightly wrong and i'm clearly getting a negative.

thanks!

edit: actually it won't let me edit. i mean i live in cincinnati and write "cinci" and my packages arrive. it's fine, right?

I'd print it "as is" and then get out a pen and squeeze  in the "i".

Can you tell the buyer and ask them their preference?

i could, but not sure that would solve my problem. especially if they say edit, as that doesn't seem to be an option. when i click edit and fix the word and press save, the seller protect box goes away and my change to the address is not there.

I would ship as is if that’s the only typo.

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

The buyer is responsible for making sure their address is correct before paying for the order.

I would send it the way it is.

Have a great day.

You lose seller protection if you change anything

You don’t loss seller protection unless you ship to another zip code. Go ahead and correct it. It’s 1 letter.

I noticed that noticed that nothing changes until you view the actual label. I always add the zip+4 and correct the spelling if necessary.  The warning is meant for major changes -- not minor corrections.

As long as the zip code is correct, there will be no problems. The zip code determines where it goes initially.

If the first word of the city is Pembroke, I think (but I'm not positive) the P.O. will know what pnes means.  Mine does.   But I would most likely do what was suggested, pen in the i.
