shipping/mailing

Hi everyone....

I'm about to start listing my extensive stamp collection. I'll be listing it in small units, like a dozen or so stamps at a time. I'm kinda stymied by how to best ship these very small orders. The best way, I think, is in individual envelopes. Is there a way to print a shipping label that is small enough to attach to a size 10 envelope so that the postage and the buyer's address is printed onto the envelope? I'm seriously disabled and it's very important to me to facilitate the process, especially since there will be hundreds of transactions. Thank you all.

The size 10 envelope will work to print a shipping label...you got a printer with good ink and paper and lots of  tape plus buying the envelopes? And then a thin cardboard...like a greeting card and envelope sort of thing.

I usually put stamps in a sealed plastic bag and glassine envelope as well due to rain sometimes.

It's a rather hard market to enter unless you have some good stamps to start off with to get those repeat buyers.

"Repeat buyers' should be your mission statement.

75+% of my buyers are 'repeat buyers'.

I prefer the small standard envelope and a forever stamp or stamps...and write everything on the envelope.

One can get a 'stamped ink marker' for your address.

I only do certified mail USPS  for high end lots.

I have seen the eBay shipping labels but don't use them.

Maybe get a look at my items for sale what it's like...

Good luck.

How about @12345jamesstamps ?  He ships a lot of small stamp orders.

You can use eBay Standard Envelope. I used to print the "labels" on paper and use packing tape to put them on the #10 envelopes. They come with a partial tracking reference and you can claim on undelivered items. The service is good for packages up to $20. There might be some other things with this, I'm in Canada and can't use this service anymore, but it was acceptable for me to ship my stamps and banknotes for a while when I could use it.

Wow! Thanks so much for your advice. That you wrote such a lengthy and detailed message was unexpected and so much appreciated. I'm really trying to do this right- I had a major stroke that resulted in my left arm, hand and leg being completely paralyzed. Makes what used to be easy tasks become a challenge. So anything that makes things easier is really a huge help!

Your advice on repeat buyers is especially helpful. I kinda had that thought in the back of my mind, and it was good to have it reinforced.

Thanks again for your kindness.
