Re: selling

No but if someone is bidding on a lot of your stuff reach out to them in messages and discuss payment.

Re: selling

There are buyer limits in some cases.

One is under Buyer Requirements that sellers can set to block some purchases from taking place. It can be set to limit the number of items a buyer can purchase from a single seller in a certain time period. Below is a link to the Buyer Requirements Help pages for more info.

Also in BR, is a setting for sellers to block those members with a history of non-payment.

So yes, buyers can have limits. Can you be more specific on your question?

As as seller, you have an opportunity to block some buyers if they've made a purchase from you in the last ten days . . . is that the kind of thing you might be looking for?

Re: selling

Over 85% of transactions on eBay are Fixed Price.

Even the less than 15% that are Auctions have the Buy It Now or the Best Offer options enabled.

Auctions produce most of the Unpaid Item Disputes after purchase.

Clothing is a heavily overused category on eBay. Auctions are a particularly poor choice for selling clothing, because many are buying on impulse.

Buy, pay, ship, receive. KISS.

If you are worried that a customer has bids on too many of your auctions, contact her and ask if she would like a special listing just for her.

You can set up a Fixed Price listing of her choices, with a combined and discounted shipping price (perhaps even included in the asking price and promoted as Free Shipping).

Use her ID as the title so only she finds it.

Make it Immediate Payment Required.

Or make your Message something to the effect that if all her auction wins are in her Shopping Basket, you can give her a special combined and discounted shipping rate.  Warm pink fuzzies just for her. Confirmation that she is a serious buyer and not just shopping.

Or add Buy it NOW to all of your auctions (at the price you really hope to get) and allow her to .... ummm.... buy it now.

So.... what is the problem you are trying to solve?
