That is not proper English.
I am thinking about moving to Sri Lanka to teach a combined course of ebay and English. Do you think i can make money?

You can list most things on eBay. If the item is not allowed, the system will stop the listing.
However, Sri Lanka does not allow you to accept Paypal payments which is the basic method of payment here.
So until they do.... don't bother listing anything, you will only be frustrated.
You can write your Member of Parliament about this. You don't even have to put a stamp on it. Just write OHMS where the stamp would go.

Why do we (myself included) keep entertaining these people?

My personal opinion is that many of us believe that, if you tell them the same information many hundreds of times, over and over again, it might actually be understood and absorbed.

the information given to the SL community will benefit most people on ebay
many sellers put listings up and are not quite sure if they are allowed or not.
its common for a seller of items to complain that all the other sellers are breaking the rules but have not been caught yet.
relisting of questionable listings has had a few people in hot water yet pepole continue to sabotage their own accounts.
the average reader on the forum does not jump to the 1st low number poster to see where they reside.
good avice is just that..............its applicable to many locations
keep on ebayin

Your government does not allow you to accept paypal for incoming funds, so you need to end your listings and wait until this law is changed or a different method is available to you that is legal in your country

Your last link should be pinned at the top of the Selling page for all Sri Lankans to see, so we don't have to go through this all day, day after day. Those poor people are getting screwed and have no clue it's happening.

Most of them don't even come back to read any replies they receive, they only post here because they've been told it will help them sell here.

That's even more sad.
