Re: selling problem

It's eBays way of vetting you and making sure you don't try to scam a bunch of people and run off with the money. Not to mention be a good seller.

You'll need to sell a couple things and eBay will increase your limits.

The 250 a month thing is a different limit where you can list 250 things for free each month. After 250 I think they charge 25c or thereabouts each listing. Listings that renew the following month will be included in that 250 figure.

New Seller limits explained......

Do not click the button until you have at least a couple of sales and have had an active listing for more than a week.

Re: selling problem

Just a thought. Fast Delivery is not having your customer waiting a month to receive item. You might want to think about that.

Re: selling problem

For new sellers, there are limits for the number of items you can list as well as the maximum value (money) you can list.

For your particular situation, your item is listed a little different from the usual item. You have listed it with variations of sizes and variations of the number of items someone can purchase. On the drop down menu, I could only select one size as well as I could only select a volume of 1. But it remains that you listed it with the choices for multiple sizes as well as multiple items.

Just guessing here, when you originally listed the item, you listed it with lots of sizes and the availability of purchasing lots of numbers of items. So, if that is true, you reached the maximum number and the maximum money value with that one listing. The situation will repeat every month if you leave the listing like it is. I would suggest that before the item relists in 30 days, cancel the listing, delete it, and start a new listing with just the 1 size available. That may give you the availability to list more items. With successful sales, your limits will increase. Good luck.

Re: selling problem

Yes, that is not fast delivery. If they fly that Fast Delivery logo they need to have 1 day handling, not 5 days and they need to ship expedited shipping not economy. The listing is misleading.

Re: selling problem

New sellers must prove themselves and accumulate some positive sales before ebay will increase your selling limits.  Until then, you should put your best listing out there.  Be fair, honest and accurate with your descriptions and photos.  Give the customer the best service you can.  One month to wait for an item to arrive from Sri Lanka isn't going to attract a lot of buyers.  Also you have a lot of competition with your product.  Lots of cinnamon sticks out there for sale with lower prices and faster shipping.  You should also remove "healthy" from your title.  You are adding unfounded health claims that you cannot prove.

Good luck!
