How to get email replies when replying to postings in this forum?

When replying to messages here, after typing a reply, I click on "Additional Options" and select (tick the box) "Email me when someone replies" but since the forums were altered/remodeled recently, I have never received an email advising there are replies. See screen shot below of the problem area. Does anyone else have this problem?

When starting a new thread such as this, there is an option to select just to the right of and above the Subject line. I selected "Email me when someone replies there".  This has worked in the past but I haven't tried it since the forums were remodeled/changed. But even if it does work, the option to receive email replies to messages does not.

I believe you can click the little down arrow at the top right and select "subscribe"

That should get it done.

If it does, one wonders what the purpose of selecting "email me when someone replies" is.

Well I'm testing it out.. I'm not tagging your name to see if you get the email. **fingers crossed**

Remember you will need to recheck subscribe for any topic you are following.

I think the "email me" worked at one time- progress you know.. LOL

Also just in case you weren't aware, you can go to your profile by clicking your photo at the top right of the page. You can find a list of topics you have started and a button to change it to view any replies you have made to others topics..

Very nice of you. So far, there is no email notification for this thread even though I subscribed. I'll post again if it comes through. I do receive other emails from eBay; the only issue is with the forums. And thanks for mentioning the list of topics, etc. at the top right. I'll see if there's anything there that can help with getting replies emailed.

Well I'm still hoping it works eventually..

My emails about the board, when somebody tags me etc.. are frequently delayed by 20-30 minutes..

So I'm not giving up hope yet..

Thank you, Pika. I selected several of the email options in the long list in my profile and opted for immediate notifications. So far, still nothing. Will post again later or tomorrow. Fingers crossed 🙂
