scammers

I am getting obvious scam messages regarding my listing.  However, seems there is no way to report another user until there is a transaction made.  Or, perhaps I am missing something?

Re: scammers

Contact ebay support and tell them to look at those messages. They should take care of the rest. Lets hope the bidder on your camera is not a scammer to. Why auction I would do buy it now with immediate payment required.

You're a new seller selling a high dollar item.  New sellers are targets for scammers.  If they are asking you to text them or they can't pay because they're new, don't fall for it.  Block them from further annoying you.

Tagging on with @duncanvr , you should really just sell those items at a buy it now fixed price, immediate payment required and NO best offers.  You'll get more serious buyers who will pay.

Happy Selling.

Re: scammers

I had it previously listed as "Buy it Now" for one week and got no interest or offers ?

I still have another listing as "Buy it Now" with very little interest shown.

Re: scammers

If you receive a message from a member, you can report the message using the link under the Action menu at the top of the message.

Re: scammers

The problem is with auctions on a pricey item like yours their going to send you fake payment messages or not pay at all and after 4 days you have to cancel sale and relist. On ebay you only need one view the real buyer view these days, bot views are not counted. Buy it now, immediate pay and let it sit. You have to be patient for a good buyer. Tagging @ckimodog

Re: scammers

You have to have a little patience with the BIN listings-one week is not a lot of time. Plus you have competition for Canon cameras. Have you compared your pricing with other listings both active and sold?

Give it time.  It looks like a nice camera accessory.  I'd rather list buy it now where I'll get paid, as opposed to an auction style listing where I'll be chasing my money and not getting paid.  You've got the weekend coming up... you'll get some lookers.  Don't forget to use your social media buttons.  On the right upper side of your listing page, you'll see the word "share", click it and what ever social media you use, attach your listings to it.

Wishing you Good luck and happy selling!
