just had a buyer  get a refund an they fine me 10.00 on top  - he claimed he did not order  so his cc. co. refunded thu pay pay - he waits till last min. does not go thu  e-bay  so you do not  get notice . you do get  email from  paypal but  it did not show up on my account till deed was  done - this was 40 days after  purchase.he has done this  on another site i sell and 3 here that i have  found . even though reported to  both  their is no way  for me to ck what they are doing about  -it.

There should be some seller protection on the PayPal side of things. If you have shipped it to the address supplied in purchase and have tracking you should be protected. I would call PayPal, explain the situation, and explain that you have shipped it with tracking. I had one that I shipped before they notified me and they let me keep the funds since I had tracking.

If a buyer does a chargeback, Ebay will know nothing about it until after the fact, if at all.

Sounds like an unauthorized use chargeback, which is super easy for a seller to win. All you had to do was upload the tracking that showed the SHIPMENT to the buyer's Paypal address. It doesn't even have to show delivered. Did you do that? Have you tried appealing to Paypal?

As a seller, even if you only sell one item a year, you MUST stay on top of your Ebay AND your Paypal account. Don't EVER depend on emails - check your Ebay and Paypal accounts daily by logging in. It only takes a second to do.
